Overview

We are seeking to appoint a Post-Doctoral Research Associate to work as part of the ESRC WISERD/Civil Society Research Centre, a new inter-institutional research programme. The successful candidate will be based in the Department of Geography and Earth Sciences at Aberystwyth University and will particularly contribute to the work package ‘Ageing, serious leisure and the contribution of the grey economy’, led by Dr Jesse Heley and Dr Laura Jones, with a smaller contribution to work package ‘Rethinking Local Civil Society in an Age of Global Connectivity’, led by Professor Michael Woods. The post-holder will be responsible for data collection and analysis, as well as contributing to the broader development, delivery and dissemination of the research.
