Rachel has worked in a variety of research, teaching and administrative roles at Aberystwyth University since getting her doctorate in 2006. She was appointed project administrator for the Global-Rural project in September 2014 and is involved in day to day project management, as well as coordinating meetings and assisting with the periodic reporting to the ERC. Rachel also works in the Department of International Politics as editorial assistant on the journal International Relations.

The Learned Society of Wales has announced PhD student, Samuel Brown from Swansea University, as winner of the WISERD Annual Conference 2017 Poster Prize. He receives an award of £200 from the Learned Society of Wales.
