Location: Cardiff University Dates: Tuesday 07 November 2017, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
This interactive event introduces young people to survey design and data analysis. It's aimed at 16-18 year old (sixth form) students, and equips them with the skills they require to produce questionnaires and analyse survey data for the research element of the Welsh Baccalaureate qualification.
The session draws on examples from the annual 'WISERDEducation' pupil survey to illustrate key concepts such as question wording, sampling, data analysis and presentation. It culminates in the use of these skills by the young people to co-produce their own question to be included in the 2018 sweep of the survey.
