Diana is responsible for WISERD's communication with a wide range of stakeholders from across the public, policy, media and third sectors. She supports WISERD’s academic researchers in maximising opportunities to communicate their research, and supports hub colleagues with events and engagement.
Diana produces WISERD’s annual report, WISERD Insight, the bi-annual magazine, WISERD News and a regular e-newsletter. She is also responsible for producing other publications and publicity materials, such as abstract booklets and postcards, and overseeing branding projects as required.
Diana is the point of contact for media enquiries and is responsible for issuing news stories and press releases on behalf of WISERD. Diana also looks after the WISERD blog and social media channels, and is part of the WISERD web team.
Diana holds two masters degrees: one in International Journalism (Cardiff University) and a second in Graphic Communication (University of South Wales). She has extensive experience as a broadcast journalist and graphic designer. In recent years, she has specialised in marketing, leading on social media, blogs and corporate image communication projects at Cardiff University, Lobster Pictures and the ONS.
