The WISERD Annual Conference has become one of the most important events in the social sciences calendar for people concerned with social, economic and political issues in Wales today.
We are delighted to welcome academics and non-academics from a diverse range of disciplines and areas of interest to share their research. This year over 80 papers will be presented and we welcome three keynote speakers from leading figures in academia and politics.

New for 2013!
PhD Student Competition – £200 prize
In collaboration with the ESRC Wales Doctoral Training Centre, we will be awarding prizes to postgraduate students for Best Poster.
All posters submitted by postgraduate students will be automatically entered into the competition. A poster display will take place throughout Day One and Day Two with judging and presentation for Best Poster taking place during the drinks reception on Day One.
