WISERD Knowing Localities Research Programme 2008-11

The WISERD locality research programme comprised a series of locality studies, carried out by six full-time researchers, based in Aberystwyth, Bangor, and Cardiff Universities. These studies were complemented by a suite of qualitative micro-locality and place-based studies Local knowledge in Context’, completed out by researchers at Cardiff University.

Samuel Brown wins WISERD Poster Prize 2017 sponsored by the Learned Society of Wales

The Learned Society of Wales has announced PhD student, Samuel Brown from Swansea University, as winner of the WISERD Annual Conference 2017 Poster Prize. He receives an award of £200 from the Learned Society of Wales.
