For further information please contact WISERD.Events@cardiff.ac.uk Drawing on her analysis of Senedd and Parliamentary records and, key governmental policy documents, Christala Sophocleous considers the continuities and disjunctions in national discourses of social value. The use of the term social value has grown significantly since the late 1990s and is now a key concept in public policy, particularly favoured by governments when discussing third sector and civil society. Christala will explore changing conceptual framings of social value and consider what these differences might mean for our understanding of civil society.
