As Events Officer, Rory is responsible for the delivery of WISERD events across Wales, ranging from large-scale academic conferences, to internal seminars & training and capacity building sessions. Rory works closely with the engagement team to deliver a busy schedule of events, as well as creating a communications strategy to promote them. He can assist you with any queries relating to events.
Rory was formerly WISERD’s Engagement Administration Assistant, and previously worked at the Cardiff and Vale University Health Board to provide administrative support during the COVID-19 vaccine rollout and mass testing programme.
Rory holds a BA in Sociology from the University of Exeter.
