Those who are near to completing their doctoral thesis or who have less than 12-months full-time postdoctoral experience (allowing for career breaks) are eligible to apply. If you had your viva more than 12 months ago but have been working in a non-academic post, please contact us to discuss your eligibility.
We welcome proposals from those returning to research following a career break. Applicants are, however, required to meet the eligibility criterion of having no more than 12 months (FTE) of active postdoctoral experience.
Applicants must meet the person specification and possess social sciences expertise that links directly to one of the 3 specific areas outlined in the area of civil society, and to one of the four themes of the Civil Society Civic Stratification and Civil Repair programme of work.
