Migration Research Wales Network is pleased to announce an early career researcher and postgraduate seminar to be held online between 10.00 and 11.30 on Thursday 12th September. The aim of the online seminar is to provide a supportive environment for researchers to share ideas on draft work and receive constructive comments. Each contributor will deliver a 20-minute presentation followed by a 20-minute Q+A session.

Presentation 2: ‘ESOL tutors’ perspectives on literacy and language difficulties among forced migrants’ learners and the impact on their progress in Wales, Zaina Aljumma (Swansea University)

Migration Research Wales was established in July 2021 to encourage collaboration between researchers across Welsh institutions to provide a national focus for migration research and bring together academics, stakeholders and practitioners working with migrants on issues affecting migrants.
