More able and talented pupils in Wales – an update

Last October, in an introductory seminar some first preliminary findings from the WISERD Education Data Lab on More Able and Talented pupils in Wales were shared. This seminar will provide an update on the topic by including Key Stage 4 (GCSE) results and by examining the trajectories of MAT pupils over their educational career. The impact of gender, ethnicity, FSM, SEN, and levels of deprivation on trajectories are discussed, as well as school characteristics.
