A one-day practitioner conference is to take place on Monday 23rd May to discuss the recommendations from WISERD’s evaluation and the implications these have for the future of the Foundation Phase.
Cardiff University and WISERD were commissioned by the Welsh Government to undertake an independent three-year evaluation of the Foundation Phase.
‘The final report for the 3 year Foundation Phase evaluation was published in 2015, which included 29 recommendations for a range of areas. This one-day conference centres around the evaluation aims to provide practitioners with a platform to share their experience and practice within the Foundation Phase with colleagues through open discussions, based around workshops on specific areas from the evaluation. We very much look forward to welcoming colleagues from all areas of Wales to participate in this exciting event,’ says Evaluation Director, Professor Chris Taylor.
The WISERD Foundation Phase Practitioner Conferencewill take place on Monday 23rd May at Cardiff University, 9am – 4pm. Refreshments and lunch will be provided and attendance is free of charge.
