About this Event
The purpose of this Research Workshop is to provide an opportunity for researchers at all career levels across a wide field of policy areas, with an interest in experimentalist governance and policy change. The workshop will be led by Professor Charles Sabel (Columbia University) who will discuss the theoretical framework for experimentalist governance and its application in different sectors and geographies. Participants will engage in collaborative inquiry and scholarly discourse to advance our understanding of the field of policy and experimentalism. The goal of this workshop is to promote intellectual exchange and open up potential avenues for experimentalism in policy research.
Objectives and Design
The workshop aims to engage participants in discussion and dialogue that includes:
• Theories of experimentalism
• Understandings of its application in different geographic and temporal contexts
• Case studies and examples of success and failure
• Ideas for the application of the framework in future research and practice
