Adam began working at WISERD in September 2023, following the completion of his PhD in Politics at the University of York. His PhD research focused on the politics and rhetoric of conspiracy theories, examining the political ideas expressed by conspiracy theorists and the strategies they use to persuade their audiences.

Adam is chiefly interested in how political ideas and identities are expressed and reshaped in political discourse. His own research combines insights from political theory with an interpretive approach to analyzing political discourse. His other research interests include critical theory, the study of rhetoric, and normative political theory.

During his post-doctoral fellowship, Adam will be developing parts of his PhD thesis for publication, and undertaking training to further develop his research skills. Adam will also focus on sharing the findings of his research with other researchers and the general public.
