Martina’s role is to ensure smooth financial and administrative operations for the Cymru Wledig LPIP Rural Wales project. She provides support to the teams across various organisations included in the project and provides regular reports to the Research Finance team at the University.
Martina holds a joint honours degree in Sociology and Media Studies and Journalism from Masaryk University in Brno, Czechia. She has studied at Aberystwyth University for a year through the Erasmus+ programme in the Department of Theatre, Film and Television studies.
She speaks 5 languages, including Czech (native), English (C2), German (B1), French (A2) and Welsh (A2). She is currently working on learning Welsh to a higher level.
Martina has joined the Aberystwyth University as a member of staff in 2022 and worked in various administrative position such as Global Opportunities Support Officer, Finance Procurement Graduate Trainee or Human Resources Support Officer.
Currently she works part-time for the Cymru Wledig LPIP Rural Wales project for two days a week, another 2 days a week she works as a CARER Project & Healthcare Education Officer.
