Presented by Dr Karen Lumsden, Assistant Professor in Criminology, University of Nottingham.
This seminar explores the principles and nature of participatory action research (PAR) and the requirement and potential for creative new approaches in order to engage with communities, stakeholders and participants in the context of the Covid-19 global pandemic. In doing so, it considers whether these changes may alter the very nature of what constitutes PAR and also the ethics of PAR, including the implications of conducting qualitative research remotely and at-a-distance.
