I am Head of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. I studied sociology as both an undergraduate and postgraduate student, and was awarded my PhD from Bangor University. I have written widely on a range of issues in the broad field of political sociology, but most especially on nationalism. I am currently writing on what is often referred to as ‘temporary migration’, following a project which studied the experiences of individuals who had moved, over the last decade, from Poland to work in Wales.
