Sanaz Farshadfar is a Research Assistant working on interdisciplinary data research projects within the Wales Institute of Social and Economic Research and Data (WISERD). Her work focuses on data analysis, reporting, and the interpretation of complex datasets, with particular interest in the application of data-driven methods to social and geographical research.

She completed her second master’s degree in information technology and computing at the  University of South Wales, where her dissertation focused on spatial data analysis (GIS). Her areas of expertise include data analysis, statistical analysis, data visualisation, dashboard development, business intelligence, and geospatial analytics. Her research interests include data analysis, insight generation, data visualisation, and the use of data technologies to support evidence-based decision-making.
