A Cardiff University School of Social Sciences (SOCSI) quantitative research workshop in partnership with the Wales Institute of Social and Economic Research, Data and Methods (WISERD).
SOCSI’s Sin Yi Cheung and WISERD are delighted to be the hosts for three visiting American Professors of Sociology; David Grusky (Stanford University), Mike Hout (New York University) and Matthew Snipp (Stanford University) who, for this event, will be acting as our panel of discussants. During the workshop research on poverty, inequality and big data will be presented by academics from Cardiff University’s School of Social Sciences. Led by our panel discussants the session will then open up debate with participants to further explore these topics.
